At dinner time, I call 'Come on in, girls' and it's like a stampede. Glad I'm not the only one.

I'm not sure that Mojo knows his name, but when he sees me coming to the field, he always neighs and comes walking over to me. So endearing...and so great when it's muddy at the gate.

I think for Jubilee its more the sound of my voice that she knows and remembers, not necessarily her name. I call her sweetie and babygirl and she still looks over at me and sometimes comes over.

Well all my horses know their names, but only Evie and Fox come when they are called, Magic literally walks the other way.... so not kidding, he's a snot.

Unless of course it's breakfast or dinner time, then I just say "Come on now" and they all trot in from the back pasture and walk into the appropriate stalls and beg to be fed.

I can also yell "yo, pigs!" and they know it means food.... So glad my animals aren't alone on that one.
My dogs come when I say "dinner you pigs".... poor animals are probably confused
