I looked at those but I use a breast collar and figured they would get in the way. I just attached some little bells to her breast collar for the same effect. I use them for warning off wildlife on the trail, plus shouting "shoo deer"
Personally I think it's a load of phooey. You can achieve the same effect by counting out loud, or singing a little song to yourself, even something as simple as your ABCs... it's what I do to get a good tempo going when I'm nervous
If you really want something like that, tie some bells and beads together on a string.. it'll save you a few bucks
Yeah, if I wanted one I'd make my own.
But I don't think they'd be worth it. I guess I'd have to look more into it, but I've heard of them and I think they're just a waste.
they lied about the native americans using bells. they didn't have bells or the ability to even make bells. so this is probably some piece of crap that they can make cheaply and sell for a higher price
I have a set of those that I won as a door prize. I never thought of the rhythm aspect...I use them for riding out in the woods as bear bells.Of course being with a group, our talking is a much better bear deterrent than the bells. I would not buy them though - they would be easy to make.
