    Search & Rescue

Does anyone belong to a Search & Rescue group? I'm intersted in joining a local group, but am not sure what is required of both horse and rider.

I looked into it also at one time. I couldn't find a group nearby but I did find this site that gives a good deal of information: http://www.ibiblio.org/msar/trotsar.txt

Thanks IRH, I haven't dug too deep yet. I was hoping someone who does it, will tell me what the demands are. I do know this group near me requires that we be to the police station within 45 minutes. I could make that, but it would be tight. But if they're hurting for help, they might overlook me being 5 minutes late .
    Thanks for the head's up.
