I have a show coming up this next weekend with this horse that I've been riding for about a month... he's a great horse but he's your typical chestnut thoroughbred.... slightly stupid and flighty haha. Its an event.. so the first thing is dressage and i've done events before and so has he, but not in 5 years. Does anyone have any tips/ suggestion on how to ride him by the judges booth/ any other spooky are so its discreet but still have a way to keep his attention/ what to do if he will not go by an area?
