simple question

When is a horse considered to be out of the "green broke" stage...I'm training a 4 year old quarter horse who has had less than 30 rides, I still consider him to be green broke but when is a horse actually not considered green broke? Thanks

Personally I think it's when they can do everything you ask without hesitation or lack of understanding. All the gaits, all the basic stuff (stop, side pass, haunch turns, forehand turns etc.), collection. Some gauge it by years of training, but some horses learn a lot faster than others.
