So, I rode this horse today...

I was at my barn today, and decided to ride this horse, Slew, in my lesson. He is a boarders, and she told me I was welcome to ride him whenever I wanted. He's an 8 year old tb, who raced. He's definitely green, but I was suprised at how good he was. He was going on the bit and everything for me. It was so strange, because I have only seen him ridden western (and IMO he doesn't enjoy it.) He was absolutely perfect. We popped over some little jumps (1'0 tops) and he was trying to hard. It was adorable! I want this horse. Haha. His only issues are he's definitely lacking in the muscle department, and he has long-ish pasterns. (They're not awful, just a wee bit long).

Just thought I'd share that.
