Hi there, the first thing I would do is stop with the carrots. You are actually rewarding his bad behavior by giving him carrots. Try a simple 'HEY!' to distract him from his behavior. You can stop his pawing by simply tying him up for an hour or so... try it for a week. It teaches them to be patient and wait quietly. The bug spray he will get over if you do it everytime you mess with him. Just ignore his reaction to it. Eventually he will get used to his new routine and will settle down. Good luck.
