Stacy Westfall DVDs?

Has anyone ever seen them? I was thinking of getting them for my sister and I to watch. They are quite pricey so I am just curious if anyone actually likes her teaching methods.

Some I like, and some I don't. I really like the basic body control and the ground work one has lots of ideas and techniques. I wouldn't recommend buying the "how does she do that" DVD, it does not give complete answers that you can directly take out and use. To me she doesn't go into very much detail. The colt starting one is ok, but I don't like how she starts the video, it's not something I would try with my horses or allow anyone to do to them.... Just my personal opinion on the DVDs.

I have 2 sets. Starting 2yo and body control. What I like is that they are simple and she shows what do to when something happens. I have had and watched a lot of different videos like these and they seem to skip that. They just say do this or that and normally use a very close to finished horse and she dose not. She uses horses who are finished and ones with about 6 moths on them for the body control videos. I like that one b/c it gives different exercises do to and works well for green and finished horses.

There is a packaged deal that includes Whoa, Basic Body Control, and Bridleless. Does anyone have anything against these, or like a certain one better?

She has had several packages to chose from. I wish they would do substitutes as I have a couple of them but would like some of the others. I have not watched Whoa it is new like in the past few months. I have body control and do like it. There are several exercises for each thing which is great. Some I have been using for years and some new ones. I bridleless is no my wish list.

never

I have never seen her dvds or her methodology but I have seen her do her bareback riding and bridle less reining pattern and it was amazing..........now if she can translate that to a dvd, and you can learn it........ good luck..... but it was an impressive show.........something I will never forget.

I don't care for the bridleless riding DVD. It kinda starts what she does, but you can't take it out of the DVD and use it. It doesnt really go into enough detail I find. (???)
