Starting to dought myself as a rider

I have had a guy out here helping me get over my fears of riding and he has rode Dakota and says she is a wonderful horse she is just a bit rusty from not being ridden in a while. We went out yesterday and I was so scared it brought tears to my eyes one of the other horses got to close to Dakota and she kicked at it then she danced around and I bailed off I was terrified. I am so pissed at myself for being this scared when im in the saddle when these horses are out in the corral I am always out there and so comfortable with them and even sit with them when they are laying down sun bathing, but as soon as the saddle is on my nerves go insane. Yesterday I even took my anxiety meds the doctor gave me and they didnt do a **** thing. I know the only way to get over this is to just get on and push through, but I don't know if I can. Yesterday I shocked everyone when we were on our way back to the house I saw a blow snake on the trail so I stopped Dakota cause she saw it to so I got off handed my husband the reins and I went after the snake. They can't believe im scared of a horse, but will go into the long grass hunting for a snake.LOL

Is there a way for you to ride somewhere else away from the horses? Or put the horses somewhere else while you ride? Perhaps you are the one making the other horses nervous and excited while riding around them. Whatever you do, don't doubt youself!

When we ride we do go away from my house so the others can't see us, but I can also go to the guys place that's been helping me out. Im sure its my nerves putting her on edge.
