Use a knotted rope halter and give her 3-4' of lead between your hand and her head. Carry a lunge whip in your left hand, facing backward and down and hold on to the lash. As you prepare to lead her pick an object a hundred yards away and focus on that. This will keep your body in correct alignment. Click/kiss to her to move her feet. Whenever she hesitates just raise the whip behind you. She'll see it and will likely feel inspired to walk on. If not, a light touch usually works. Keep your focus ahead and don't look at her and don't praise her and don't touch her. Praising a horse at the wrong time can have a reverse effect.
