Since they have a per day price it sounds like they are more pricing it for people to use a horse for a ride and that is it. Maybe once you are there you will learn that have other options for people who actually lesson/ride there.
Are there any private boarders there that might offer a lower price? |

The barn I ride at has a few project horses, and it's nice that my coach allows people to kinda pick which they wanna work with. I have no horse of my own yet (time constraints) and to be able to go up and have a horse to myself that I connect with is nice. |

My husband is deploying and I'm just moving to NC with my daughter, and it just happens that where I'll be staying is right outside of Bragg, so we're not PCSing (permanently stationed) there. Smith Lake Stables only allows active duty members and their families who are stationed there to board. I can understand that, but it's still disappointing. Boarding is $80 without paddock.

I checked EVERYWHERE. I came on here and found a thread that suggested a complete list of sites. I looked at them all and came up with nothing. This one woman I found on Craigslist was leasing out her TWH for $75/month, where all I had to do was show up and ride, but she wasn't giving lessons and didn't want an outside instructor coming in.
