One of the problems with forums is so often when someone makes an initial post, there is a lot of information left out. Often we don't know the experience level of the OP so we are left to guess. Or we don't find out a lot of info on the horse...i.e. Age, training, use desired, was the horse vetted, and the list goes on. It's not that anyone wants to read a life history, but we can only respond to what we are briefly told. Most people are really trying to help and not degrade the OP in any way. Trust me, it can also be frustrating for those trying to help with a reply.Sometimes our efforts would be better served going to the barn and shoveling.

Dustbunny--I totally get that! That is why I made the response like I did. I take the advice I can use and try to leave the rest behind. I only urge people to be a little kinder in their criticism because that was what was suggested to me on here by Tiny Liny. She is a good lady. I realized through her that everyone is at a different place with the horse world. I may know more than someone else and a lot of people know more than me. I still take the advice of people who jump on my case. I just think some people overreact a little bit.

^^^^ I agree with a lot of what you say. I have learned a lot from reading replys. I don't believe I have ever asked for advice in the few months I have been here. But I might someday.
And, yes, TinyLiny is a good lady.
