I was a dog trainer before a horse trainer, so a lot of what I learned training dogs can be transferred over. That was definitely one of them! There's no such thing as a stupid dog/horse, only stupid owners/riders.
Haha, this guy is right. I would have to say that's true 90% percent of the time. Sometimes my horse does things that are just...Stupid. Like running up on a horse that is in the process of bucking. No, I didn't tell her to, I'm just going along and she decides to keep moving with the group...And run into the bucking horse's butt. Has she met this horse and it's a friend? No. Is it a male and she's trying to pull some antics (which she does)? No. Just being not very smart. But she's not stupid like that video shows. I would not expect her to be that "smart."
Haha, really like this guy's approach with things and agree with just about everything he says! Seems a lot of his approaches are in line with natural horsemanship, and it just makes sense. He has a lot of other videos on youtube that are all really good too.
