I have after what feels like forever, after blood, sweat, tears, and innumerable nights of frustration had what could be deemed a nearly perfect night of loping Trigger! I cannot BELIEVE how fantastic it felt when hardly had to ask him to pick up a lope on either side and then he was responding to me as I encouraged him to KEEP to lope going! We went around the arena a few times each direction and I felt amazing! Anyone who has read my posts knows that trigger is stubborn and refused to lope going to extreme measures to not lope. After bumping up the days I spent with him to at least 3 a week if not four or more and determining some prime issues- such as which lead is his dominant lead, and so on and so forth. I just wanted to share my excitement with everyone!
