Sundance is visiting a trainer.

Well, we recently sent Sundance to a trainer in TN. Our friend had is stallion gelded and trained/broken by the same trainer. We had him to come out and put new shoes on Cassidy and help to address a mounting issue we were having with him. I have spoken with him a few times since he picked up Sundance, and he said he is doing well and is improving but he is super stubborn when he wants to be. I cannot wait to go visit in a week to see how the training is going. Our trainer is giving us free trail rides while we're there, do that should be fun. I miss my boy and I'll be so glad to see him come home.

Sounds like fun, visiting your horse in training & then going for a trail ride. Enjoy!

Our trainer also runs a rescue faacility aside from his training. He has impressed us so much since we met him, he is one of those people that have "the touch" and know how to communicate with the horses. I really like the fact that we get to visit and sit in on some of the training while we're there. We can go and visit as much as we'd like and stay as long as we'd like. He said he prefers that the customs come visit to see how the training there is done. And to be able to see some of the impmrovements aand progress.
