    Tappering down

    Hi
I use to ride my horse 4-5 times a week.
Next week i'll go on vocation for 11 days :P .
What is the best way to get her into less working out? What changes should I make to her nutrition?
    Thanks for the advice,
    Zahi

When I go away, I make sure the horses get less grain, but maybe a little more grass hay just to give them something to do. Also with less grain, the chances of colic are less and that's something you don't want to deal with when you're away.
