Wink Today = Me getting bucked off

Well today was...Intertaining to say the least. LOL
Klassy was a super super good...till she grabbed the bit and decided that she was going to start playing games with me, and then froma wonderful VERY forward balanced trot she proceeded to come to a sliding halt and catapult me into the arena wall. So now I am EXTREMLY sore. I got back on and I think she knew that was a bad idea....I got back on so the ride for her wasnt over, I acted like nothing happend and she decided that not grabbing the bit and being very light in her face and forward from behind was a much better idea, she was a dream till right before she threw me and then againa dream right after I got back on. It was weird but honotsly one of the best rides I have had on her, now don't hink this is bad, I have only come of once in 2 years and that was back in OCT when we had our falling accident at the old barn.

So I ended on a good note, we had two wonderful smooth and balanced trot to walk trantions!

She was even amazing on the lounge line, again bets session I have had with her! I am now pumped for my lesson on thursday, but the bodey I am in is not so thrilled with the idea of riding so soon lol

I spent the afternoon with her and she is almost all done shedding so she now has her light turnout sheet on all the winter blankies are packed up and stored till next year! YAY

Ater my ride I turned her out into one of the paddocks and she had lots of fun rolling and investigating the whole place and randomly etting up and taking off across the paddock and then stop at the other end and be like.. what...? I freaking love my horse to death.

My bodey, not so much tonight. But I am getting in a hot shower and taking advil and my pain killers ater dinner.

Here are some fun pics I got today!
Enjoy!
Thanks
Sam

Naughty naughty horse!! Glad you're okay and good for you for getting back on. Hopefully she won't make another attempt next time out. While you were getting bucked off 3000 miles away in WA, I was having my first good ride in over 4 months, although much less eventful than yours. It sure is nice to be back riding again with our hairy shedding horses, isn't it?

Its funny to see how horses can test their owners. Im glad you didnt get hurt though! And she learned a lesson. My appy tends to have what I call hissy fits, kind of like kids do, except he weighs close to 1300 lbs and every now and then I come off. Last time I came off of him we were in an open field and he thought he was going to race Cash (one of the horses we ride with) well, I went to hold him back and he was not happy! He took off bucking like a bronc coming out of a bucking chute. When I came off and hit the ground he stood right beside me like "oh my gosh momma Im soooooo sorry" He stood perfectly still and didnt move while I got back on. Granted the right side of my face and neck were swollen for the next 2 weeks from flying off head first and in the dirt. But, everybody has there days! The best thing is you didnt get hurt, and you got back on! Lots of praises are given for that!!!

LOL Yes she is very fun to ride, we call her the barn monster.... that just tells you how much trouble she causes lol but its all good. She loves to romp around when turned out and when she is ridden she now has LOTS OF GO lol My lesson went SO great we started cantering for the first time,a nd at first she was confused and was like.. trot fast? And then when she finally got the correct lead she was like hey this is fun, so we changed rein after a break and she was like CANTER! Haha we are comming along so well I am so proud of her. I wasnt sore at all after my leson to, it was great!
