Well my new 16.1 hh paint x TB is currently learning to jump!! I am really excited and he seems to be really enjoying it. He is seven years old and has never jumped before. The last month or so I have been building fitness and confidence with gridwork etc.
Yesterday we took it up a notch and started jumping single uprights that were a bit higher. We got up to 70/80cm. I know it isn't overly high but I didn't want to push him. He cleared all but one (due to bad striding) so I was really pleased.
I was just wondering if you could give us a bit of a critique and advice to help us on our journey. Anything would be appreciated however please be nice, I don't claim to be good haha.
I have attached some photos and a youtube link of us warming up. I am aware that I went into jump position a stride too early and I am working on it :)
