    Poles may or may not work: some horses rush them like they rush jumps (eek.)

    Most horses will eventually find peace on a circle; but that's not why you start in them. They teach a horse to keep balance and it's much much easier for a green horse to keep balance on a circle (why it's easier to sit a trot when you pull a tight circle!) then it is for them to keep their balance and remain perfectly straight. You won't always have poles around... but you can always circle. ;)

    Well for right now we're going to be circling. I saw how well Vega and I did yesterday, so I'm going to stick with it. :)
