There could be several problems at work here. Just the first few things that come to mind is that your horse could be bored because you may just be a passenger instead of a rider or you could be sitting unbalanced on her or your farrier is not doing the right trim on her or her tack is not fitting her properly. All that is assuming that there isn't something physically wrong with her so I would have her vet checked before proceeding.
As for having her feet trimmed, 6 weeks is the norm, not 3 months. We really need to know a lot more about hour horse, her training, her age, and your experience.
