Trojan doesn't like mares! help?

Soo this is a completely new one to me and I am not quite sure how to tackle it.

I wrote a few weeks ago about Trojan and his aggression issues towards the other boys in the paddock, which we have worked on and he has settled down so much, he's almost like a different horse. However, he was briefly paddocked with my friend's mare, it was only for a couple of days, but he would flatten his ears and charge her if she came within 20 metres of him. Apart from the obvious concerns about him hurting her I didn't think much of it, figured it was something about her.

Now I think it was something about her, and that something was that she was a HER. My mum has just put her 3 year old baby girl in with my boys and he is doing the same thing to her. He doesn't do it to any of the boys, they are quite welcome to munch on the hay with him, but by gosh if Fanta tries its a whole nother story!

Has anyone come across this before? And any suggestions on how to get him to accept those equines of the female persuasion?

We never mix mares and geldings in the same field. We find the same thing but usually it is the mares giving the boys a rough time. It is also normal for two strange horses to act aggressively towards each other until they have spend time together.

I guess I will have to watch them over the next couple of days, she's been a mixed paddock before, and the other boys aren't phased by her, but TJ just doesn't like having girls in his herd.
