    Update From Bad Habits

Okay, for those of you who have read my other post, bad habits, know that my horse Breeze was rearing, threatening to kick and biting. You also know that a trainer was going to come out today. She did. She worked with Breeze and me and what we came up with for this behaviour was this...

Breeze is lazy, she thought she could get away with not doing hard work if she acted up. There was nothing I was doing wrong except for when she did act up, and I corrected her, I did not dicipline her enough to get the point across that she was not suppose to do that and had to do as I say.

Also, for those of you who said she had no respect for me, the trainer, in person, said she has more respect for me then an average yearling. She also said that she listened better to me then she did for her. She does have respect for me.

We will be working with this for a while know, getting her to do as I say and not slack off.

P.S. This was the trainer I use to ride with, and I am going to start riding with her again!

I agree, my advice would be have a friend watch you or record you on a camcorder so that you can hear right away what your friend sees or you can see what you are missing or doing wrong from the video.
I watch a lot of horsemanship videos on youtube and I have heard many of them say they like recording themselves because even they see things they could be doing differently and learning from watching their own videos.
