Well they werent exactly smart, but its not like they beat the horse or something. And you gotta understand, this is in a different part of the world, people do things differently there. Not everyone is educated the same that we are.

Thats so horrible! That little girl couldn't even hold him up, she obviously wasn't ready to be ridden. At least when she rolled him off she wasn't seriously hurt.

I see videos like this constantly from this sector of the world. They're ALL over YouTube. I don't get it because these people were like the original horse people - they had this respect and love for horses that was unrivalled. And now it's like they're just as stupid as the rest of the world.

In defense though, I don't find this any worse then the constant influx of "macho cowboys" jumping on 2 year olds and "riding the bronc" out of them. Same thing really.

    I completely agree.

I've also seen this kind of thing happen here in the US. There was a time in my life when I worked with rough and tough "cowboys" on a ranch in AZ where their idea of breaking a horse was exactly that. Get on, hold on, and ride it out. Does it break a horse to ride? Yes. Do I agree with the method? No.

Everyone has their different "training/breaking" theories, whether one person believes it to be right or wrong is their opinion. That's part of the diversity of the horse world. This kind of this is going to happen for the rest of time.

I know its a "method" of breaking but hey I can still be mad lol. And yes, sadly it will continue to happen :( I saw someone do this at a horse sale too and when they got off the horse I cussed them out...no animal deserves that

You don't stand in front of a rearing horse!
