Western Pleasure help!

So I've got this mare named Summer Breeze and she is my absolute favorite horse to ride...I like to show her in western pleasure, but her canter is still a bit fast..Her trot is one of the robotic-ish western pleasure trots, but that's thanks to a lot of time spent out at the trainer's...and I'm not quite sure how to finish off her canter...how do I get it to the VERY slow western pleasure canter the judges like?

Not many people know this, but a true pleasure horse has a faster than normal canter. So if your horse's canter is fast, and she's well trained, she's a true pleasure horse. As to the answer to your questions, I can't help you, but I just thought I'd share that little peace of info.

I'm trying to teach her to be like the judge's picks though..

Get her to work using her hind end. Do some circles, roll backs, and hill work to build up her butt.
