Let'r rip buddy!!!

No Kevin. 3/4 of the people here would hate me even more then they already do. I will just keep it to myself.

I strongly beleive there are "no bad horses just bad people "
I agree with you, RiosDad. People get very offended over nothing, or cannot accept another point of view or belief other than their own!!

And, "no bad horses just bad people " is spot-on.

People who can't ride and think they can train horses.

People who believe that they can train anything with hair on it after having been successful with a handful of horses. Never mind that those horses were initially broke by someone else, and, were all of the same type/temperment.

What irks me is people who act smug and superior because they are SOoooo above being irked - unlike we lesser mortals who are just Sooooo petty and actually get annoyed by things! By the way the title of the thread was 'what IRKS you - quite self explanatory really.

Also a person who continuously buys and sells horses. They buy looking for the perfect horse. Five minutes after being ridden by this ham fisted A-hole the horse becomes a bucker and bolter, so gets sold on as no good and the person goes on to buy and ruin another horse. Not ONCE questioning the reason every horse this person ever rides turns nasty. That IRKS me.

People who buy a gaited horse, burn up the trails with it for a few months until it breaks down, then go out and buy another one. I know a few people like this - fortunately, I don't see them more than once or twice a year, but every time I do see them, they always have a new horse and don't really say much about where their last horse ended up.

There was another thread like this. But if I offend anyone I am sorry.
- non horse people who brag that they have ridden a horse a pro and honestly you **** head you didnt you just bloody sat there on horse that has been rode somemany times he doesnt even know your there.
-SOME gamers I dont like the steriotypes they make about western riding and I find that the horses are hot headed and hard mouthed.
-that TV show that makes us look like cranks
-people who say there horse is bad and never look at themselves
-people that get jealouse(sp?)
-snotty kids who get great horses and everyone thinks they make the cutest little pair.
-people who think I didnt train my horse because I am so young!!!!!!!!!!!
I have many more...

Live to ride. Ride to live.

i get irked by people that bring their "riding" horses in to lunge them, only to find out that these perfect "riding" horses don't know the first thing about lungeing and go crazy broncing all over the place and impede on the section of the arena where I have been working for 10 minutes trying to focus my "un-backed" horse to lunge as an effective training exercise, and then when I seem peturbed because Frida suddenly thinks "hey one of my buddies is playing, RECESS!" they just shrug and say "well, distractions are good" GRRR.

People who only ride their horse 3-4 times a year and then wonder why the horse acts up.
Unfriendly horse people
Know it all horse people
People who don't understand the concept of "everyone has to start somewhere". So you've been riding for 100 years, I'm here to learn from you not be insulted by you. Take a courtesy pill.
I think I see a theme here...Oh crap, its people who irk me
Guess thats why I spend more time with my horse than with people.
