My TB sees a racetrack every day that I bring him out to on purpose, because he still has the urge to race. However, I do not let him run. I do trot work or walk around the track, and once he's calm I do collected canter work, then go back to my normal jumping routine. Since I started this daily exercise, he no longer gets jumpy at a canter depart, nor does he stutter at the sight of the track. He simply focuses on his job and is just the most tender sweetest TB on the earth. And remember, a bigger bit isnt necessarily a bad thing ;)
