    what is YOUR training schedule?

Just out of curiosity... For example mine and Comet's schedule is 30 mins of groundwork Monday, Wednesday, and Friday with an hour of riding on both Saturday and Sunday. I also throw in random ground work sessions when I have extra time. She seems to do well but I need to up her groundwork time. Problem is I don't have a lot of time so I'm always working mini sessions in. OK your turn...

Typically for us it's horses one day, mountain biking on alternate days, with arena horse days having a road bike ride in the afternoon.

Ground work before every ride. We do trails one session and arena the next.

I try to ride my horse 5-6 times a week, weather permitting lol. Arena/trail

    Lunging twice a week.

Some type of ground work everyday. Sometimes long, sometimes just 5 minutes.

I'm bringing my thoroughbred back into training, so we are trying to accomplish a lot!!

I usually ride 6 days a week, sometimes 5 if we have a longer lesson or clinic in there somewhere. I compete in local shows almost every Sunday, so Monday is usually the day off. I do good flatwork three days a week, work on some new things like cantering poles or lead changes on one day (sometimes lesson day), and spend one day at a lighter workout on a trail ride or just light flatwork, working on a good walk and stretching. The 6th day is show day, we compete in Baby Greens at 2'3" :)

I wish I could ride more but I got 3 kiddos so its hard to get out and ride. At least I get ground work in quite a few times a day even of its only 5-10 mins. I take advantage of nap time and am guilty of using the TV as a baby sitter LOL

    .

I usually ride for 30 minutes, and then I do some groundwork whenever I have time. I do a lot of trick training with Robin, so I always try to make time. My daily activites for both of my ponies include, dressage, jumping, cross country, trail rides, bareback, games, groundwork, and other things.

My aim is 6 rides a week.
2 times a week I ride and lead mostly walk but some trot around our 5-6km block. I normally do 2 laps 1 with my youngster and one with my friends hunter.

Once a week ride in the very hilly park. A few good gallops in there too. About an hour in the park 15mins there and back at walk.

2 times a week at home working over poles / jumps and focusing on coping with a contact and not racing up hill.

Once a fortnight hunting dependant on work.

When I can I'll try to slot in a trip to the hunt club say twice a month to pop over some panels or ride xc

My goal is once a week for 1-2 hours

Sometimes I get in more time -- and some times I get in no time

I know this feeling. Its how it was when I boarded. I hated it. Luckily now I can sneak in even 5 minutes at least once a day. I love having her on my property now.
