Who are your favourite riders?

Could be someone famous, or just someone you know

I have a few, the most recent being Andrew Nicholson. I hadn't seen him ride until last weekend, but he is amazing! Performed a textbook ride round the Xc course at Badminton... So balanced and such quiet hands, especially nice as - look away now if you are of a sensitive nature - male eventers have a tendency to be a bit slapdash

Another eventer - Mary King. She is so experienced, really knows her stuff - had such a successful riding career, and now runs a very good breeding programme! Also, unlike a lot of top riders, she was not born with a silver spoon in her mouth, so has built herself up from more or less nothing.

Carl Hester, such a quiet rider and his show record speaks for itself!

William Fox-Pitt! Strangely enough, I think I may be slightly in love with this guy... But yes, another awesome eventer, how he looks so elegant for someone of his height I have no idea, but well done to him

Karen O'Connor

Mark Todd (I WILL meet him one day, darnit...)

Jil Walton: Love this lady. Ridden her a few times and she is a great instructor who really pushes my comfort zone. Lovely rider as well.
She's at the Rolex right now! Go Jil!

Wow! It's great to see the Kiwi Eventers finally getting some recognition. While I love Andrew and Mark (I've met him, Hah!), I'll always love my jumping. With that, my favorite rider has, and always will be, Katie McVean. Not to mention her main horse, Delphi, is by the gorgeous Liocalyon. <3

Katie and Dunstan Delphi, 2010 KCHOY.
