    Winter training ideas?

I would just like some ideas of more stuff I can teach my horse. Sence it is winter we are pretty much confined to the arena. He already knows leg yielding, can bow, hug, and kiss. We are currently working on getting up on this pedestal but that may take awhile.

You can get him fetch, find stuff, play dead. The ideas are endless.

Is your horse being ridden? You can work on his walk - is sometimes proves to be one of the most challenging gaits regarding hindleg involvement, collecting, stretching, etc.

Weave through barrels/cones, you can try bridleless,i don't know if your horse is already good at leading but I tought mine how to walk in a collar,we back everywhere includ. Down the isle why into the ring, into his stall ect, throw a buch of poles on the ground in a pile and have your horse pick his way through.....we get bored during the winterX)

Buy a cheap $5 beach ball and let him have at it. It's should be just a once in and while toy.

I love that idea! We're going to have to give that a try tomorrow.
