    Wonderful trainer!!

It is fantastic to have a trainer to work with.... Lynn, my trainer, was such a big help today with Citrus. She helped me see that he has things to unlearn before he can learn the new things. She also told me that when he starts to lock up and won't do something (ie his right lead like the other day) to go back to something that he does know and that he does really well. Apparently this will build up his confidence and make hanging out with me rewarding instead of frustrating.... genius!! It seems like such a simple idea but it never occurred to me- I thought I had to make him do it. Hooray for lessons and people who can teach me new things!

Great trainer costs his/her weight in gold! They are pretty hard to find (from my experience).
