Yesterday and today were my beginners clinic with Steve Rother. All I can say is that he is AMAZING. I can't say enough good things about him!!! There were 4 other horses in the class, so it wasn't too big which is perfect. We learned a lot of new methods for groundwork that you can use in any situation. There's so much to tell, it's hard to put it into words. Thunder was a star student. I am so proud :) And guess what?!?!?!?!?
I RODE HIM ;)
SECOND TIME HE'S EVER BEEN IN A SADDLE.
AND TODAY IS HIS BIRTHDAY!!!

I don't plan on making riding him a habit, but I do plan on trying to go to the colt starting clinic from steve in May. He suggests we get about 10 good starting rides (nothing too big) before he's full grown that way he knows what to expect when he really starts training. THunder did soooo good though. He just stood there while we were pulling and yanking on him, and even while mounting!!!
Just had to share, it was such a wonderful day :)
