Angry Youtube warning for green trainers.

I just wanted to post this warning to all people who are green to training a horse. If you have a problem, whatever you do, don't watch any videos on Youtube posted by "ExpertVillage" about how to train a horse to do whatever. I don't know who these people are but they are not horsemen or trainers. They teach great methods to have a disrespectful and dangerous horse and I am afraid to think of how many people have been hurt trying to follow their videos. Please, please, if you are having a problem that you can't deal with, get hands on help from a good trainer with a good reputation.

Wow, yeah I don't know who they are. But I've seen videos before from them on hairstyling and stuff like that.... sheesh, scary

Oh my gosh, I saw one of their videos and it was absolutly horrible! Not only do they not follow basic horse safety, but they often give misinformation! It is by no stretch of the imagination that I can believe that their training methods would be dangerous and may cause more harm than good in most cases, especially if emlpoyed by novices! I really hope that people in need of training advice call someone skilled instead of using poor quality tutorials online!

I've never seen any of their stuff, but then I usually seek out articles by 'known' trainers, or buy books. Good to know though, thank you.

I just went on there to check it out, just out of curiousity.

Whoa.

You're right. But if you want a good chuckle, go to their videos and read the comments that people leave.

Oh, you mean that site INexpert village?!?

That site should have a full disclaimer in easy to read words at the beginning of EVERY video. Something like: "DON'T TRY THIS AT HOME - FOR ENTERTAINMENT PURPOSES ONLY""or "ENTERTAINMENT IS FREE but PAY someone REAL money for REAL Information"

The one with the girl in the jodpurs lunging the horse or the horse lunging her was funny. I watched a bunch of them and I couldn't agree that any of them were experts.

I think there are tons of such "experienced" trainers on youtube. I use that site only to watch music. Lol!
