Hello everyone,

Some of you already know Rusty, the appaloosa pony I ride/jump. Well when I first started jumping him my goal was 3' with him and to my surprise we are schooling 3'3" right now. So I was super happy that he jumper higher than I thought he could. But....I started to wonder....can he go higher? Well we decided to put Rusty in a jump chute and jump him 3'6". He cleared it a couple of times and we stopped. Then I measured the jump and it was actually 3'9". (We have 14 standards, 12 of them have holes measured one way and 2 of them have holes measured a different way and we were using the odd standards so what hole I thought was 3'6" actually was 3'9". SOOO, I'm super stoked that he will eventually be able to take me to my personal goal of 3'6".

BUT...I have my big TB gelding back and he makes 3'6" look easy and has jumped our 5' roundpen fences a few times so I think my new goal, high wise anyway, is going to be 4'3" or 4'6" with Apollo.

Anyway, look below for the very short video.
