Bareback and Bridless Work

Plus some extensions / collection work at the end haha. Hope you enjoy his cute flying lead changes! I know it's not completely bareback, but for his comfort and safety I always use saddle pads… he has sensitive skin from a genetic thing. (not sure what it is, his sister can't have her mane brushed because the skin on the crest of her neck is too sensitive :P).

Anyways, I can't believe how far he has come in just a few years. It might seem like a long time, but he came from such a hard background that it isn't very much time at all. I have trained him myself with the help of some amazing trainers, using a lot of ground work training he has learned to respond better when I am on him.

That is beautiful!
I have been riding my horse bareback, but I don't think I will ever go without a halter. I've been riding bitless, but in a halter. He is 22 and just too lazy ad has learned that he can get away with so many things and he sitll has his crabby moments. He is just too far along in his age and with his personality he won't do good without a halter on. I've tried as well and he jsut doens't listen. I still continue to work with him on everyhing in a halter nonetheless, but we will never be able to do that, that is amazing!!

Excellent job!
