Beau working out and showering afterwards

Ok, so what is an OTTB to do after a workout when there is no shower available???

    See video:

The crazy nut in the video is Beauseant, we call him Beau....he's a 6 year old off tracker with energy to burn. Only problem is how to cool down .... he came up with his own improvised showering system.

Darn those thoroughbreds, they are smart!!

Beau uses his head sometimes also.... he'll dunk his head in the tank...up to his eyes. My daughter was wondering how does he know not to breathe when his head is under the water....

I guess horses know when and how to hold their breath???

Hilarious! Sassy is an OTTB and six years old as well. She has to get out and have her "blow" as well--got to teach her this neat cool-down trick! ; )

Thanks for all the replies, folks.

He is a weirdo, to be sure. Strangest horse I ever met.

He must have been bottle raised or something because he absolutely does NOT get along well with other horses, but will walk up to a group of complete human strangers like he belongs in the group. He is extremely people friendly, so much so as to be unusual.
