Default Bridle-less riding again!

After about two hours of riding in 100 degree heat, I decided we should
do a bit of bridle-less riding to finish up our session.

So here it is! Yes, I know he's being super lazy, but I can't really harp him, it was a hard workout prior to this!

I decided today to use a rein from his bridle to wrap around his neck to use for finer movements, and it worked! So I think we'll use that in the future, until he understands the different commands without a bridle.

So here is the video! Yay!

ETA: Notice at about 2:00 he tries to be lazy and trot instead of lope. But he didn't get away with it for long!

Awesome! Looks to me like you two have a great bond! Your horse is gorgeous. I agree with MyHorse above, you should try it bareback!

We're working on trying it bareback. For some reason, he doesn't respond as well bareback and bridle-less. It's rather odd, because I ride bareback with a bridle three or four times a week.

I think I could do bareback and bridle-less with the rope around his neck, though. I'll have to give it a go!
