Descending down our 1000ft Man From Snowy River hill near my house

I just wanted to share a video that I took three days ago during a ride through my neighborhood. We descended about 1000ft in about 1/8th of a mile. Two of my friend's trailered up to my house yesterday to go riding and are not used to riding on extremely challenging trails and one of them fell off on this hill because he wasn't leaning back enough and slid down about 30' before stopping. It was hilarious lol! My friend Heather and I ride down this hill at least once a week and sign The Man from Snowy River theme song as we go down. You have to give your horse their head and let them zig zag down because it is so steep. Love it!

Oh and we took a new route on the way home and passed this house! Lol the horses did not like those pot belly pigs!

Excuse the shakiness it was hard to hold my cell phone to film... I normally hold onto the back of my saddle with that hand.

Much more fun than a roller coaster! The video makes it look not as steep as it is. Lol when we got to the point about 4 minutes in the video yesterday I heard my friend Holly whisper to her fiance that she was scared to go down. Hahahahaha then he was the one to fall off of his horse.

Who says horseback riding is not an extreme sport! ; ) I think the pigs were just as curious as the horses were. LOL
