Talking Finally!!!!!!!!!

I got my stitches out and was able to ride Sandie yesterday - and again today!!!! No more fear, no more worries that she's going to spook at any moment, we just had a great ride!!! And my friend Shannon caught some of it on video tonight (a little dark bc she was using a camera phone) - Sandie has such a smooth trot, you can barely tell I'm even posting on her!

Ahhh it's just great to be riding again!

Madame, you need to take your videos with better lighting. Very hard to see what's going on :) Your little girl has very unique colors. Do you show her at all?

haha yeah I know, it's because I hadn't planned on taking any video so it was kind of on the fly and with my cell phone! And add to that the dark arena lighting since it was at night (bc it's winter and it's FREEZING it's made some of the lights in the arena not work periodically so it's always kinda dark in there)...

I don't show her yet, when I got her 4 mos ago she was only green broke and hadn't ever been taken to a show before. Coincidentally, I've never been in one before either, she's my first horse! (I've only been riding 2 1/2 yrs)...so we'll be going to our first show together prob this summer if she can learn quickly enough! I have a great trainer who has been working with both of us, and he's an Eventer, so I may start there...she just started learning to jump last weekend and it's just amazing how fast she picks up on things!

She is an interesting color, like you mention - she's buckskin, but with a bald face, she is a registered Paint. Her dam is a buckskin QH and her sire is an overo Paint.
