Smile Had An Interestingly Good Show

So I have been ring my friend's horse T.C. (AKA TomCat) lately because they don't have the time and he's out on ALOT of weight...he needs to lose about 150-200lbs the vet said or he was at HUGE risk for laminitis :/ But he is so much fun....he's a 12yr old QH he has reining blood in him and has had some reining training

First things first-he has an ...interesting personality lol....he loves to test and give his riders a hard time(which is cool because I like a challenge) so he bucks a lot and theyre not really get off my back bucks more like "hmm let's see what she does if I do this"

Keep in mind the bucking is basically everyday TC....they've had EVERYTHING checkd on this horse health wise and physically and nothing has come up wrong the vet said that's just his personality and boy does he have personality lol...he's a real sweetie though.

This first event he was being challenging--he tried to run through the gate (which we are not allowed to do) so I had to spin him to stop him and line him back up(you'll see him buck) Then he took off at the pattern and instead of turning when he needed too he shot forward but I got him back in and we finished but he bucks LOL. (Don't mind my friend's narrating lol)

So this next event is poles (for some reason he never bucks during poles and barrels...I think he likes those evets ) he did awesome and we ended up getting a pretty good time. (My shirt got stuck on the horn weaving down hense me sitting weird it was fine going back up)

This last one is barrels...his first turn is wide but that was my fault I checked him waaaay late as you can see lol. HIs second and third turns were really nice though. We ended up getting a 23.1 even with the wide turn and where I ride the winning runs are normally between 19 and 21 so I think we did pretty good.
(Also don't mind my friends comentary and singing lol)

What is the first class called? It looks familiar but I can't think of the name.
I'm running in my first barrels and poles classes wednesday (I can't wait! )
A kind of off topic question, does T.C. Have any paint in him?

Oh, just asking because I know a Paint horse that used to be a stallion who is named T.C. (Top Cat).

Your T.C. Is a pretty guy, and probably be even prettier once he slims down, lol.

He looks like a fun ride and I'm sure he'll have plenty more spunk once he gets the weight off him. But great job riding and pushing him thru his little bucks and continuing to make him work, you two look like a great team!

A Kack For Horses- actually I'm going to go back and look at his papers this seems to be like more than a coinicidence lol. I will get back to you asap I believe he's full QH but not sure I'll check.

Poco- he is a fun ride...spunky but fun it took me forever to get him this far.

If it helps, He is a bay tobiano with blue eyes, approx. Between 14.2 -15.2 hands. He would have been gelded about 3 years ago? His legs are white except for his right front that his bay marking extends down to his knee.
