My mare does that...in the middle of winter...when it's cold. Dumber than a box of rocks...
I'm keeping her out of the creeks on trail rides!

My Shire, Blizzard, loves to roll in the mud. She goes from grey to brown every time it rains and if I give her a bath, no easy feat, she finds another mud puddle to roll in.
