Saranda, you are doing very well but hold your hands as tho you are holding the reins. To stop try slouching your back which tilts your pelvis ie. you stop riding. Working a horse at liberty is gratifying whether on the ground or on the horse's back. Work isn't really the correct term, playing is more like it.

Thanks, Saddlebag, this was a really valuable comment! I really have an issue with my hands even when riding with reins, so I use tackless riding to help myself with more independent seat and relax my hands.

It is really more like playing - I couldn't do any of this, if Snickers wasn't willing to be and play with me.

I have come a long way, to surrender my shadow to the shadow of my horse.
