It is done to the song I have dedicated to him, Yellow by Coldplay, for the line "Your skin and bones turn into something beautiful"
He was previously very neglected, as you can see from the pictures, the first picture shown is of him the day I brought him home and the second skinny picture of him where you can really see his body was even after he had begun gaining weight. He was very, very thin. Then you can see in both of the second pictures, that is him now.
He most definitely turned into something beautiful.
He is a horse that I deeply love, but after a year of "making it work" have learned is just not the right match for me. At this point I can't even ride him anything more than a slow walk around the arena for a few minutes. It's not fair to either of us, so soon he'll be heading off, likely to continue his showing career as a jumper which he loves. It will be really hard to see him go, but he will be happy and I will be happy to work with a horse that I can ride again.
I'm glad to have brought a forgotten horse back into shape to find a good life again. Doing that for such a great guy has definitely been worth all of the worries and time out of the saddle, but now it's time for us both to move on. I thought it only right to create some kind of farewell tribute to such a dear horse that I have been lucky to know.
*Please excuse that it is not the best, it is basically my first attempt at one of these sorts of videos. Normally I just shoot and upload, haha..I also can't get it to not stretch it out, it looks lower quality than it really is, it's meant to be smaller.
And the clips that were vertical got all squished..didn't realize it was going to do that till after the four hours of editing, but I don't think it's TOO to bad..
Thanks for watching
