He did so well. At one point I dropped the reins and just let him do whatever he want (thats when we're in the middle of the arena going in circles basically)
He's so nice to ride and I thought his trot was going to be really bouncy, but it was so nice
hehe yeah. I've thought about jumping on him bareback when I lead him through where the donkeys are, but the donkeys like to sneak up on us, and I wasn't sure if a. I would be able to get up on him and b I had no idea how he would react. But all is going well. I even cantered him yesterday (and almost fell off, but he stopped when I said "I'm slipping" hehe)
I also *think* i got him to collect, round his back and use his hinny.. but i'm really not sure. I just know his trot felt different and he got light.
Nothing to do with your riding but...OMG your hair has gotten so long over the summer! I'm so jealous
On the riding, I wish I could do more bareback with Vida but she is so narrow its uncomfortable. Wish I had my Matty horse back for that. She was like sitting on the couch LOL
I know! I can't believe how long my hair has gotten! It has gotten to the point where I can't leave it down when I sleep because it strangles me, and managing it has become a real chore! I'm getting it cut soon, just don't know how short to go.
The only horse of mine I haven't ridden bareback is Gem. Kinda nervous to since he bucked me off and he's kinda bony.
Montana has a bit of a bony back and my bony butt just makes matter worse
