Stopping Bridleless : )

Excuse the horrible loping... She was tired and I'm still working on getting her to hold herself together without a bridle.

And here's a picture:

Awesome :) Although I would suggest not pulling on the saddle, like you are. I trained my girl to stop like that when I sigh and slightly put my weight back. It just looks like you are pulling her backwards with the saddle :/

Wow! That's really good! How do you train your horse to stop when you simply sit back?

A ride a day keeps the worries away!

Congratulations!!! I been working with Butch on this and it is taking FOREVER. That was really good!

He knows when you're happy
He knows when you're comfortable
He knows when you're confident
And he always knows when you have carrots.

it doesn't look like she is pulling back on the saddle ??
It just looks like she grabbed it for support

Anyway, that is soo impressive, did you train her to do that your self?

I don't really understand what you're saying. You think I trained her to stop when I pull on the saddle? I just didn't know what to do with my hands, haha.
