Fi did really well, I was happy with her performance. We haven't really done a whole mess of jumping lately, so I attempted to warm her up in the ring when it was opened for schooling. This consisted of me about being bowled over by a "barn group" so I chose to take the two jumps I'd taken her over and let her take the other two "cold turkey."
She couldn't have made me prouder! She jumped confidently and it is clear she enjoys it. We're rotating a grazing muzzle between her and her pasture mate, so with some weight gone and fitness worked on... I am anxious to get her into a Jumpers class and see how she does. She can turn ridiculously well and appears to enjoy jumping far more than flat.
The lead was my fault, we are still working on her landing on a proper lead (I shifted/looked too late). Tried to change it, but we only had somewhat of a trot stride before she picked up again on the wrong lead. So totally my fault.
On course A we got a 2nd out of five.
On course B we got 1st out of four.
