Who takes your video?

Alright.. for a week or two now, I've been meaning to have video taken of me riding. However, the days that my husband is available, it always seems to rain. :(

Most of my friends are non-horsey people. So, here's my question: who takes your video? Should I just ask somebody in the barn? There aren't too many people that I know there, other than the workers. We've only been here for a month or so.

My mom films me every couple of months (even though she hates it). Sometimes my horsey friend comes to watch my lesson and I get her to film, lol. At shows, everyone from our barn sticks around to watch the each other go, and I've seen some people pass a camera around to film each other.

Equu - I totally wished family lived near me. Haha, we're military, so we move a LOT. We've only been here for a handful of months, and family lives 1300 miles away. That's awesome that a camera is passed around at shows!

I think I'm going to have to hold out until my husband can film. Hopefully tonight, because this weekend forecast is rain! Blech!

Great if you have family who can help - mine look blankly colour blind when I say 'Press the red button.'

And Murphy's law always comes into play: the time you have a once-in-a-lifetime shot is the day you left the camera at home!

99% of the time I take my own videos.
I just set it up, either on the mounting block, a barrel, or a tripod.

I usually get my mum to film but she's not the best at it xD
