Default 10 year old OTTB for sale in Michigan

I have decided to sell my OTTB gelding Rocket to get back into the stock breeds. Here is his dreamhorse ad: http://www.dreamhorse.com/show_horse...rse_id=1470782

He is going to make somebody a really nice horse, but our personalities don't match very well, and I have gotten more into trail riding first, and the english riding second, so I need a horse that is good for trails. May trade for a stock breed that trails good but can also jump and moves well enough for dressage (I'm not demanding or anything), would love an Appy.

I know this is not a good time to sell a horse, but if anybody is interested or knows somebody who is looking for a good hunter/jumper prospect please pass the word along. I will be very sad to see him go, so a good match for the new owner is a must. Would be willing to do a 30-day trial.

I realize that you didn't ask for help with your ad but I do think that you need to fix the grammar in the ad. I'd personally not respond to an ad that misspells the word probably.

I just started riding english and I really like it. I have horse who is 4 and Im training her in western but I suppose she could do english. Shes a stocky 15.3 hh bay quarter horse and she spooks at nothing. Shes been on a couple of trails and she loves them. If you would like a few pictures, I could get some. I know WI would be a little long drive from MI but it might be worth it. =)

I would only be able to do a trade because I need to sell Rocket to be able to afford to buy and keep another horse. I would like to see some pictures of her, does she move out pretty good, or does she have more of the western gaits?

You're right WI is a long ways away (unless we went across the lake...wonder if they let horse trailers on the boat).

Im gonna try her out in English myself and if shes good at it, Im gonna keep her. I'll still send you some pics though if you want. I highly doubt she'll be a good english horse. She has the slow western gaits and is very stocky. Her legs are muscled and short and I know she wont be a jumper.

My boy is a trail horse but I've only had him a month, have to figure out if we work well together or not.

Yeah, that probably won't work out well then since I really want a horse that I can still be competitive with but is also calm enough to do trail riding. Rocket has a great competitive spirit and is super in the arena and even on small cross-country type courses, its just when I ride him in wide open spaces that he falls to pieces, such as on trails.

I have reduced the price to $2000. This guy is going to make somebody a really great show horse, I just want something that is a bit more sensible on the trails.
