16.2hh Dapple Grey OTTB Gelding

Hi everyone,

I sadly have to put my gelding up for sale. Due to financial reasons far beyond my control, I cannot afford to keep him at my barn any longer. I've paid everything I can towards my board, and I still have an amount due.

Bentley (aka Indy Forrest) is a 11 year old, 16.2hh Dapple Grey OTTB Gelding. Since being off the track, he's had time to relax, and retrain. He's gone to A rated shows, and has shown great scope over 3' jumps. He came to me extremely skinny, and for the past 5 months, he's been gaining weight, and enjoying the pasture life. I quickly learned, that he needs to be restarted all over again. He knows the basics, and he's soft in the mouth. He needs a strong confident rider, and someone who can take the time he needs to work properly.

He is slightly spookish, and can be the alpha in the fields, but he loves affection, and wants to be rubbed and petted. I am desperate to find a good, loving home, and to someone who will really want a project horse who can take them far. Please contact me for any other questions. Asking 2k OBO. Highly negotiable to the right home.

He's such a looker. I wish I could have him but I already have an OTTB at home. Shouldn't be too hard to find this stunning boy a home, though.

Where are you located? I live in MI

I'm currently on the look for a jumper... Been looking through the OTTB rescues/placement organizations but the ones sound for jumping go fast.

Do you think he could make a good eventer?
