Keystone Express (Stoney) is a Thoroughbred X Dutch Warmblood. He stands at just over 17HH and just turned 12 this June. He has never been lame, or sick. Was wormed June 6th and had his feet done at the end of May. This horse goes fine with or without shoes. I had him shod last year simply so we could put studs on for showing in grass arenas.

This horse has done almost everything. In the 2 years that I’ve owned him, we’ve done trails, chased cows, played games, double bareback, costume classes, dressage, and jumping. He has been free jumped up to 4’, jumped under saddle up to 3’3, and shown up to 2’6 successfully. Last year was his first year of showing, and he did fantastic. Never came home without ribbons. He took 1st place in his 2’6 stake class. We took a few months off from jumping ...this spring when we switched barns, and are just starting to get back into it. He’s back to jumping 2’3 courses and will have no problem going higher. As well, this horse has the movement, responsiveness and flexibility for dressage. I’ve been told countless times that his canter is simply “beautiful”. He comes up into frame with hardly any pressure on the reins. He is being ridden in a D ring snaffle with no issues.

I'm only offering up my beautiful horse for sale because I’ve gotten injured and won’t be able to ride for quite a few months. Stoney is simply too good to sit in a field. He is ready to show this summer.

I'm asking 5500$ obo. I am totally willing to take payments as well.

I know you're probably not looking for a critique of your ad, but I hope I may be able to help you out a bit... that photo would turn almost any hunter/jumper off even coming to look at your horse. Hanging knees are a major flaw that can be very dangerous; the rider looks as if she can't trust him with a proper release. If that's the only jumping photo you have... rethink using it. Post a conformation photo or a flatwork photo instead. I'm sure he's a looker and a half - but this photo does absolutely nothing for him. Do you have video of him jumping?

I have a few comments:
- Based on the video, he has a VERY cute jump, and a great canter. Take that awful, hanging knees photo off your ads; honestly I wouldn't give him a second look if I only saw that photo, but the video shows a horse that I would be very keen to see.
- The video jumps around a lot and the transitions are really awkward.. if you can get someone to ride him, do one video showcasing the horse's full talents (walk/trot/canter, lead changes, jumping a course) in one arena, then cut to some show footage.
- Take out the music, or make it something that would be enjoyed by all ages.
- Damn, I wish I was looking for a horse now! Haha.

Do you have any more photos of him?

hi, my name is Brooke Boyd I am an equestrian vaulter which is the combination of gymnastics and dance preformed harmoniously on horseback, and I was wondering if you thought your guy might be suitable for the job. The horse is also lunged at all time, I would love to learn some more about your horse.
