Sitta is a teenager, and acts like it.
She's liver chestnut with a flaxen mane and tail and has a star and strip? She is REGISTERED.
She was my wife's horse from about 12 years old and she road her through college. Sitta used to be a kid broke horse and still seems to know when she's got a younger rider but with me she is always wanting to "take a run" lol. She'll actually walk all day if you want her to, but once you cross the line and start running around on her, she would rather keep that speed going so you have to have a pretty heavy hand with her. I think that even in her "old age" she would do great at poles, barrels, and/or endurance.
We don't really ride very often anymore so if someone was to ride her more often I would expect her to get back to where she used to be....kid broke.
To show how teachable she is, I taught her to drive (pulling a sled) when she was about 16 years old and she learned very fast. This was only the second horse that I trained to drive so she had to be very forgiving of me!
We are wanting to do more driving in the future so we are breeding our 1/2 haflinger to a haflinger soon and will need more space. Not to mention that we don't get to ride much with 2 kids now!
All offers will be seriously considered and I can email you pictures.
